My thoughts exactly

Hello my darlings!

Well I’m learning a little bit more about myspace… I’ve learnt that a lot of weird people contact you, and a lot of old acquaintances contact you. So it’s a bit of a bittersweet site I guess. But the sweet overcomes the bitter, as it always should! I like being able to share my thoughts… I’ve read some other peoples blog and it turns out a lot of people think the same way I do. You know when you have some random thoughts and you say to yourself “Jeeze, where did that come from? Only you would think of that, you douchebag” well it turns out there’s plenty of douchebags out there, so I don’t feel as alone as I did :)

What else… are yes, if anyone out there can win Solitaire within 90 seconds, then good for you! In the meantime, I like to think I hold the record for with a total time of 91 seconds! Yes people, I know… yes, I know… NINETY ONE SECONDS! Wooooh dude!

I am a huge movie fan, and I watched “Brick” the other day, and I thought it was brilliant. Some of you may never have heard of “Brick”… it’s a small indie film with a huge plot and fantastic acting. Here’s a snippet: Self consciously imitating The Big Sleep and The Maltese Falcon this original thriller is indebted to ‘Donnie Darko’ in its hallucinogenic feel. Brendon (based on Humphrey Bogart) is a loner investigating the death of his ex girlfriend Emily. The police are making no progress, so he enlists The Brain to catch the killer. Uncovering Emily’s dubious friends they meet femme fa-tale Nora Zehetner. Intrigued? So you should be!

This weird thing has been happening to me lately, where I’ll be watching TV (as I often do) and I’ll hear a song that I really like. So, I google it and find the band and I check out their music, and I think to myself “this is great, what an awesome song/band”. Then the next day I’ll be watching MTV or listening to radio and whatdoyaknow that song that I googled will be on air! What the heck? This has happened SIX times now. I think I have a sixth sense for music…

Until next time my lovelies…

My funky dreams

Hello, Hi, Howdy!

Well this is my second blog entry. Not quit sure what to say in this one… so I’ll just let my fingers do the talking.

Lately, I’ve been having these really strange, colourful dreams. Some people say the a full moon will make people go a little crazy, and it was a full moon a few nights ago, so that could have been why my imagination has been going overboard!

Speaking of dreams, I have this theory. Human beings only use 10% of our brains, leaving a whopping 90% accounted for. 10% you say? Yes, only 10%!! And just think of what we have accomplished with that 10%… people landing on the moon, the Pyramids of Giza, cloning, post-it notes! So… what does the other 90% do? Just sit back and relax? Wait for evolution to make our brain usage 11%, 12%, 13% and so on. Well, this is where my theory comes into play. I think our dreams are a way of our brains interpreting life and perhaps clueing us in with what may happen in the future, and possibly how to deal with the future.

We’ve been brought up to think dreams are nothing, just our brains way of keeping itself entertained why the body sleeps. Well I think that’s B.S.! How could anyone rule out, what the other 90% of our brain does? Of course, there’s no conclusive evidence to support or dispute my claim. But I always wonder about the ‘what ifs’…

I’d be happy to hear what you guys think of my theory, let me know if you think it’s crap, or whether you agree, or anything at all

My crazy mind

Good morning, good afternoon and good evening,

I am at work at the moment, and there’s isn’t much work to do. So I thought I’d pop in and say ‘Howdy’!!

I had this crazy dream last night, where I was with my ex-boyfriend and we were walking around the city looking for this Hotel.
We finally get there and it’s packed! There are auditions going on for Australia Idol or something. We decide to go for a walk outside, and come back later when it’s a little quieter. So we are walking along this little man-made river and all of a sudden I am walking on turtles. And people are looking at me like “What is she doing? She’s hurting the turtles! When I wasn’t… they were helping me walk. So I said to the people, “No, look… watch this” and I reached down to the sand (that miraculously appeared) and picked a handful up and threw it back down, but as I did this the sand turned into a turtle! Pretty cool, huh? I love dreams, so adventurous and creative.

What’s happening with you? Anything exciting? If yes, go to 1, if no, go to 2:
1. Woh, that is exciting! Yay for you!
2. That’s okay… just take it easy and before you know it, something exciting will happen and you’ll be going to answer 1.

I suppose I better get some work done. Ah who are we kidding, Solitaire is calling me.

My very first blog

Hello all!!

Well this is my very first blog, ever!! Very exciting smile Maybe not for you… but certainly for me!

So, you may not know; my name is Aisha Grace, I live in Sydney, Australia. I am a huge movie and music lover. I spend most of my days listening to music, or if there isn’t any, chances are I will be singing and dancing to my own music.

I recently heard a poem in a movie, that I had to find. So, thank god for google! Props to google!!
Here it is (enjoy):

I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart)
I am never without it (anywhere I go you go, my dear; and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling).

I fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet)
I want no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you.

Here is the deepest secret nobody knows (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart

I carry your heart (I carry it in my heart)

– E E Cummings

Beautiful, isn’t it? *sigh* what a romantic Mr. Cummings would have been…

Well, that is it for now, my friends smile
Thank you for participating in my thoughts!
